Name Alpha-1-Microglobulin (A1M)
What is A1M A1M, also known as Protein HC is a small globular protein which is found in all vertebrates, including humans. It is synthesized in the liver from the alpha-1-microglobulin/bikunin precursor and is distributed in blood plasma and extravascular tissues of all organs.
What is it used for? A1M is used as an indicator of proteinuria and as a diagnostic marker for preeclampsia.

YBL Native A1M salient features

  • Purity: >98% purity for A1M (high pure) was observed and purity profile was checked using SDS-PAGE and Activity/TP ratio.
  • Stability data: A1M is stable for 3 years at -20°C based on real time stability study
  • Testing Method: ECLIA
  • Testing Platform: ICL
  • Viral testing: The viral marker test for HBs-Ag, Anti-HCV and Anti-HIV (I and II) was done using CLIA (US-FDA Approved). The antigen was also tested for the absence of viral DNA/RNA for HBV, HIV (I) and HCV using PCR technology.
