Name Azurocidin
What is Azurocidin Azurocidin is a protein that in humans is encoded by the AZU1 gene and is involved in chemotaxis and activation of monocytes, cytokine release and phagocytosis leading to more efficient bacterial clearance.
What is it used for? In patients with fever, high plasma levels of Azurocidin/HBP indicate that the patient is at a high risk of developing sepsis with circulatory collapse.
Source Human Neutrophils
Purity High pure (SDS-PAGE and Activity/TP ratio)

Viral testing Negative for HBs-Ag, Anti-HCV and Anti-HIV I & II using CLIA (US-FDA approved) and for absence of viral DNA/RNA for HBV, HIV and HCV using PCR.

YBL Native Azurocidin salient features

  • Purity percentage: ≥95% purity for Azurocidin (high pure) was observed and purity profile was checked using SDS-PAGE and Activity/TP ratio.
  • Stability data: Azurocidin is stable for 1 year 2 months at 2-8°C as per accelerated stability study.
  • Testing Method: ELISA
  • Testing Platform: BioVendor
  • Viral testing: The viral marker test for HBs-Ag, Anti-HCV and Anti-HIV (I and II) was done using CLIA (US-FDA Approved). The antigen was also tested for the absence of viral DNA/RNA for HBV, HIV (I) and HCV using PCR technology.
