NAME D-Dimer
Source
Human Plasma
Description
D-Dimer is a small protein fragment present in the blood after a blood clot is degraded by fibrinolysis. It is called so because it contains two D fragments joined by a cross-linked fibrin. D-Dimer helps in diagnosing Deep Vein Thrombosis, Pulmonary Embolism, Stroke and Disseminated Extravascular Coagulation
Purity Analysis
>95% by SDS-PAGE
