What is rNSE? NSE or γ-enolase is a highly soluble intracellular enzyme which is encoded from the ENO2 gene. It resides in the cytoplasm and shows predominant expression in neuronal tissues.
What is it used for? NSE is a prognostic tumor and lung cancer marker. It is also an indicator of diabetes and brain injury.
