Anti Cancer antigen 125 (Anti-CA125)
CA125 or mucin-16 (MUC-16) is a tumor biomarker belonging to the mucin family glycoproteins. CA125 levels are found to be elevated in the blood of some patients with specific types of cancers, most notably ovarian cancer. Antibodies to CA125 are used to measure CA125 to monitor responses to chemotherapy, relapse, and disease progression in ovarian cancer patients.
